Many organizations exist to financially assist adoptive families. Below you will find a list of such organizations that you can follow up with directly. IFS does not represent any of these organizations and does not speak for their procedures, the accuracy of their claims and/or business practices.
Pathways for Little Feet: A 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization that provides interest-free loans to qualified adoptive families who need financial assistance to finalize their adoptions. Pathways for Little Feet works with families who adopt from all over the globe and is committed to creating a world in which every child belongs in a loving home. www.pathwaysforlittlefeet.org
Gift of Adoption Fund: Awards grant from $2,000 – 5,000. www.giftofadoption.org
Show Hope: Show Hope is dedicated to engaging the church to care for orphans and reducing the financial barriers to adoption. Show Hope is actively involved in three areas: Adoption assistance through adoption grants, participating in orphan care projects and involvement in mobilizing individuals and communities to care for orphans. www.showhope.org
Kingdom Kids Adoption Ministries: Helps families raise money for adoption by establishing a channel for contributions from friends. www.kingdomkidsadoption.org
A Child Waits: Loans are available for up to $10,000 for one child. www.achildwaits.org
Hebrew Free Loan Association: Provides loans of up to $10,000 for Jewish families who wish to adopt. www.hflasf.org
Abba Fund: Adopting couples may request financial assistance in any amount, based upon their needs.

Oxford Adoption Foundation: Low-interest loans for families who have exhausted other financial options. www.oxfordadoption.com
National Adoption Foundation: Awards grants from $500 to $4000. Website is www.nafadopt.org
The Boatner Family Foundation: A foundation providing grants from $1,000 up to $10,000. The Boatner Foundation, P.O. Box 132272, The Woodlands, Texas 77393-2272.
Lifesong for Orphans: Helping your church start an adoption fund. www.lifesongfororphans.org/adoptFund.html
Your Church or Synagogue: Ask your pastor or church leaders if your church can accept donations that can be used to help pay for your adoption. Your church may be willing to issue receipts and use the funds for your adoption.
Tax Credit: You may be eligible for the adoption Federal Tax Credit, which can reimburse you for as much as $10,000 of your adoption costs. Consult your tax accountant to determine your eligibility. In addition, several states offer additional tax credits for adoption, including international adoptions.

Military Adoption Reimbursement Program: Military non-recurring program is a one-time subsidy program for full-time military personnel. Adopting couples can receive up to $2,000 reimbursement on adoption expenses for one child or $5,000 for siblings. Eligible personnel should complete DDForm 2673 (Reimbursement For Adoption Expense).
