Randi Shetley

Program Director – Ethiopia & Adoption Consultant

Role & Responsibility:
I serve as the International Family Services Ethiopia Program Director.

I first worked for IFS as a receptionist back in the late 1990s and fell in love with adoption. A few years later I worked for another agency as a Program Director and then had the opportunity in 2011 to come back as an IFS team member and direct the Ethiopia Program. I also serve an an Adoption Consultant representing all IFS adoption programs to families considering at adoption.

Family: I live in Branson, Missouri where my husband, Shane, is a manager at Sight and Sound Theaters, one of the many theater attractions in Branson. We have five amazing children. Alexis is 19 years old, loves art, drama, playing the ukelele and songwriting. She is my first-born (but not my oldest). Zion is the “baby” of the family and is 14 years old and the family comedian. Alexis and Zion are our bio kids. We adopted Megin and Tyson from Ethiopia in 2003. Megin is 18 and is our athlete and cheerleader. Tyson is 16 and loves soccer, video games and practical jokes. Tem, who is 20, is the newest member of our family. He is Megin’s biological brother who we were able to bring home through adoption in 2007. He loves all sports, but enjoys soccer and basketball most.

Part of the IFS Team Since: 2011

Little Known Facts About Me:
I love drama and have taught it on the high school and college level. And, if you come to Branson you might just see me acting in one of the Branson theater productions.

I love to travel, and have been to China and Cambodia with families who were adopting and have been to Uganda, Ethiopia and Rwanda for orphan based missions. I have also traveled to Ethiopia for my own Ethiopian adoptions and for IFS. I have a passion for the orphan and am so excited that I get to unite children and forever families.
