Meet Our Staff

Role & Responsibility:
Hello, I’m Kim Muse and I am one of IFS’s Texas Social Workers. I live in the DFW area and am available to work with families in North Texas needing Home Study services. I have worked in adoption for over 8 years, and continue to enjoy the work I do. I am new on the IFS team and look forward to serving many IFS families.

Family:
I met my husband at church when I moved to Texas for a job. We instantly connected and have found in each other a true friend and companion. We enjoyed a lot of traveling before settling down and adding to our family. We have two beautiful children; ages 4 and 2, and two sweet dogs. We are a busy family, but enjoy nothing more than spending time together.

Little Known Facts About Me:
I am an Idaho girl through and through. I love hiking, fishing, four wheeling and roasting marshmallows by a campfire at night in the company of family and friends. The mountains are my heaven on earth. I also love music and dance and it was on a dance tour in college that I had the privilege of meeting one of the real Von Trapp daughters after a performance in Vermont. It was the coolest moment for a girl who had grown up loving “The Sound of Music.” My husband and I are also adventurous eaters and love to try just about anything. Our families think we are a bit crazy, but it adds a little excitement to our life!
