Meet Our Staff

Melinda Gunther, MSW

Melinda Gunther, MSW

Director of Social Services, Arizona & Social Worker

Role & Responsibility:
I oversee services for the IFS-Arizona office, providing home study and post-placement support for adoptive families living in Arizona.

Family:
Paul and I met at George Fox University and got married in 1993. We have been on an adventure together ever since and have added 4 children through adoption along the way.

Part of the IFS Team Since: Off and on, in-country and out, since 2000.

Little Known Facts About Me:
I have multiple passions! I teach several women’s Bible studies, and enjoy my role as Women’s Chaplain for the Arizona Diamondbacks. Paul and I also run a non-profit called Live Love, where we work together in the revitalization of neighborhoods in downtown Chandler, AZ. I enjoy all the hats I wear because of the people I meet and the stories I get to connect with!
